About the role#
This internship is part of the Future Talent Program within the Global Support Functions division. You will join the Environmental Compliance, Sustainability & Stewardship team to support our facilities across the globe. This role offers the chance to gain experience in environmental programs, including air, water, waste, and remediation projects.
What you'll do#
- Support environmental compliance programs and sustainability initiatives at company sites.
- Assist with technical calculations related to compliance and program support.
- Review new or updated environmental regulations to assess their impact on our facilities.
- Develop tools to improve environmental programs.
- Provide assistance with site decommissioning or remediation projects.
- Take verbal or written direction to implement specific environmental activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical field.
- Completion of at least two years of college coursework.
- Ability to work full time for 10 to 12 weeks.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Clear communication skills.
- Prior experience in Environmental, Health and Safety or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.
