About the role#
Move For Hunger is looking for an intern to assist with non-profit administration, development, marketing, and event planning. You will gain experience in relationship management while supporting our hunger-relief efforts. This is an unpaid, volunteer position requiring a commitment of 2 to 3 days per week, with a minimum of 14 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Plan and run food drives and fundraisers from start to finish.
- Reach out to our network via phone, email, and social media.
- Maintain records and handle data entry in Salesforce.
- Research trends related to food waste and hunger relief.
- Help create content for our website and social media channels.
What you'll need#
- Current college or graduate student status, recent graduate, or a professional exploring a career change.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational ability.
- An outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills.
- A genuine interest in community work.
