About the role#
Mortenson is hiring a Finance Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Minnesota. You will work alongside project teams to gain hands-on experience in construction finance and accounting.
What you'll do#
- Assist teams with core finance and accounting tasks.
- Develop and improve reports and dashboards for internal customers.
- Gain exposure to project accounting and project profitability reporting.
- Partner with finance teams to improve reporting processes.
- Provide analytical support for construction projects and perform ad hoc requests.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
- Detail-oriented approach and strong organizational skills.
- Initiative and leadership qualities.
