About the role#
Mortenson is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern for the summer of 2027. You will work with our digital marketing team to support our digital platforms and gain experience in various marketing initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with maintaining and optimizing the company website and digital platforms.
- Work within our CMS to enhance user experience and ensure site functionality.
- Implement on-page SEO tasks, including keyword optimization and meta tags.
- Update and optimize company imagery and brand assets within our digital asset management system.
- Ensure web content aligns with brand guidelines.
- Support additional digital marketing campaigns and initiatives as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an undergraduate, four-year degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Previous related internship experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of web principles and digital marketing tools, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.
Location & details#
- This internship is located in Minnesota, United States.
- The position is on-site and full-time.
- The term runs from May through August 2027.
- This is a paid position starting at $18 per hour, with potential for higher wages based on year in school.
