About the role#
The Investment Management Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week opportunity for undergraduate students. The program begins with one week of training in New York, followed by nine weeks embedded within an investment team in Boston. Interns perform work similar to a full-time analyst, supporting portfolio managers and research associates in the High Yield department.
What you'll do#
- Analyze industry fundamentals and outlooks.
- Conduct research on company business models, operating strategies, and outlooks.
- Build and maintain proprietary financial models using data from company filings like 10-Ks and 10-Qs.
- Develop spreadsheets and macros to compile information from various databases into unified reports.
- Participate in daily investment team meetings and company reviews.
- Assist with special projects, including screening investment opportunities and assessing portfolio risk.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- You have strong Excel skills and experience modeling corporate financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- You have an understanding of corporate bond and equity markets.
- You can work independently with a high degree of accuracy.
- You possess strong oral and written communication skills.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is on-site in Boston, Massachusetts, with initial training in New York, New York.
