About the role#
This 10-week summer program offers an introduction to Human Resources at Morgan Stanley. You will spend your time gaining exposure to a specific HR function while building a broader understanding of the division. The program includes one week of initial training, followed by ongoing educational events and networking opportunities with senior management.
What you'll do#
- Partner with HR teams to implement initiatives that attract and retain employees.
- Create reports to provide management with compensation and headcount analytics.
- Collaborate across teams to evaluate and reengineer processes for operational efficiency.
- Support client delivery teams by assisting with employee relations investigations and fielding policy inquiries.
- Apply AI or technical knowledge to streamline and optimize HR processes.
- Present your work to HR senior management.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- An eagerness to experiment with AI tools to improve HR workflows.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Preferred majors include Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Communications, and Psychology.

- This role is based in New York, New York.

- This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
