About the role#
The Ratings and Research Support internship is a 10-week program designed to build skills for a career in financial services. Interns join one of our specific rating groups, such as Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions, or Structured Finance. You will work on real projects, receive mentorship, and attend leadership speaker series. This is a full-time, paid position based in New York.
What you'll do#
- Support analytical teams with daily tasks and long-term projects.
- Participate in case studies to build your analytical understanding.
- Collect data, track trends, and help form credit conclusions.
- Prepare financial documents, charts, and presentations.
- Monitor media outlets for news relevant to specific portfolios.
- Contribute to the creation of research publications.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Political Science, International Relations, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- You have a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- You possess a basic understanding of accounting, finance, and modeling principles.
- You are proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- You have strong analytical skills and can communicate findings clearly.
- You have an interest in fixed income markets and credit analysis.
- Exposure to programming or data visualization tools like Python, SQL, Tableau, or PowerBI is a plus.
- You have a basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts.
- You can work independently, manage your own workflow, and adapt to changing priorities.

- Location: New York, NY.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7 - August 13).
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time internship.
- Compensation: The hourly rate is $35 per hour.
