About the role#
As a Quantitative Equity Research Co-op, you will support systematic equity strategies alongside researchers and portfolio managers. This six-month role offers hands-on experience with the quantitative investment process. You will contribute to active research initiatives within a team of seven investment professionals, applying technology and analysis to research investment ideas and develop stock selection signals.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and analyze factor and model performance while contributing to regular reporting.
- Pre-process large data sets for signal processing and model estimation, including validation, cleaning, and normalization.
- Apply machine learning and generative artificial intelligence to uncover investment signals and enrich stock selection models.
- Collaborate with investment teams, data science, and technology partners on research initiatives.
- Work with portfolio managers to analyze market dynamics and their impact on factor behavior.
- Present research findings to team members and key stakeholders.
- Work independently on research and development projects.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Proficient programming skills in R, Python, SQL, or similar languages.
- Experience with large dataset manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to problem solve independently, think creatively, and manage time effectively.
- High degree of self-motivation, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Valid work authorization for the United States without the need for future sponsorship.

- Work Modality: Hybrid, with four days per week in the office.

- Compensation: $32.75 per hour.
