About the role#
This nine-week summer internship places you within the Research & Markets Advisory function at BlackRock. You will work alongside a team to provide advisory services and research to help clients navigate complex financial markets. The program runs from June to August 2027 and offers exposure to various business sectors and firm leadership.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to team projects and meet colleagues across different sectors within the firm.
- Prepare speaking remarks, presentation materials, and briefing memos for policymakers, clients, and trade organizations.
- Support business initiative projects and act as a project manager for specific tasks.
- Work across functions to support team goals and firmwide sustainability objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program with a graduation date between September 2027 and July 2028.
- At least two years of relevant work experience prior to your MBA.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity.
- Proficiency in coding and a solid understanding of computer technology in research.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Versatility, self-motivation, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- An interest in AI, emerging technologies, and continuous innovation.

- This position is based in New York, NY.
- The role is full-time and follows a hybrid work model, typically requiring four days in the office per week.
- This is a paid internship program.
