About the role#
Perryman Company is hiring a Lab Metallurgist Intern for the summer of 2027. You will work on-site with our Quality and Metallurgy team in Houston, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside metallurgical staff to finish lab and mill projects.
- Inspect and test titanium material.
- Help the team with failure analyses or customer inquiries.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in metallurgy, materials science, or a related engineering field.
- You have mechanical aptitude and want to perform hands-on work.
- You possess strong problem-solving skills and pay close attention to detail.
- You can write clear technical reports.
- You follow both verbal and written instructions well.
- You have a genuine desire to build a career in metallurgy.
