About the role#
The Game Presentation Intern supports home game activations and logistics for the Capital City Go-Go, the G-League affiliate of the Washington Wizards. This role focuses on building an engaging environment for fans and requires a commitment of 25 hours per week between September and April.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and implement game night promotions and activations.
- Assist with the daily administration and organization of entertainment teams.
- Support the development of game night elements and promotional materials.
- Research and apply successful game entertainment tactics.
- Collaborate on content creation to enhance team branding.
- Work all home games and scheduled events, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Facebook, and Twitter.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- General knowledge of professional sports and a passion for fan engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and housing.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Media Studies, Journalism, Sociology, Psychology, or Kinesiology.
