About the role#
The Game Presentation Intern supports home game activations and logistics for the Capital City Go-Go, the NBA G-League affiliate of the Washington Wizards. This role focuses on building an exciting atmosphere for fans and contributing to the overall game day experience.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and implement promotions and activations during game nights.
- Assist with the daily administration and organization of entertainment teams.
- Support the development of game night elements and promotional materials.
- Research successful entertainment tactics in sports to help enhance team branding.
- Collaborate on content creation to support the team brand.
- Work all home games and scheduled events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as Facebook and Twitter.
- General knowledge of professional sports.
- Ability to work 25 hours per week from September through April.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
