About the role#
The Digital Graphic Design Intern will support the digital team for the Washington Wizards. This role is designed for current students or recent graduates seeking hands-on experience within the professional sports industry. This is a paid, on-site, part-time position located in Washington, D.C.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the ideation, planning, and creation of engaging social media graphics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including traditional designers and video production staff, to deliver creative designs that meet brand and technical standards.
- Monitor social media trends to identify new content opportunities.
- Utilize current software and applications to develop digital design solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Status as a current undergraduate, graduate student, or recent graduate.
- A portfolio of previous digital design work demonstrating experience and creativity.
- In-depth experience with Photoshop, with additional Adobe Creative Suite experience considered a plus.
- Knowledge of NBA players and teams, with preference given to those with experience in college or professional sports.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
