About the role#

The Culinary Internship & Externship at Montage Palmetto Bluff offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment. This role focuses on the preparation of hot and cold foods while maintaining the high standards expected in a luxury hotel setting.

What you'll do#

• Prepare hot and cold food items according to kitchen standards.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of food products, sanitation standards, and culinary techniques to execute dishes at a high level.
• Fulfill guest orders in a timely manner with attention to detail.
• Work collaboratively and maintain professionalism within the kitchen team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

What you'll need#

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods.
• One year of experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel environment is preferred.
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus.
