About the role#
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor (Intern), you will support the management team in daily operations and service standards. This role focuses on maintaining high-quality guest experiences while assisting with administrative duties and staff development.
What you'll do#
- Train new staff and provide ongoing development opportunities to enhance team skills.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to maintain stock while minimizing waste.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist management with scheduling, labor controls, and administrative tasks.
- Interact with guests to ensure a positive experience and deliver on expectations.
- Assist the Department Manager in developing and maintaining service standards.
- Monitor department setup and side work to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure food and beverages are served in a professional and timely manner.
What you'll need#
- Minimum of one year of experience in food and beverage operations.
- Prior experience with Micros or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Luxury hotel experience is a plus.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Cybersecurity, Communications, or Human Resources.
