    About the role#

    As a Brewery Operations Intern, you will join the Early Talent Program for the summer. You will work in a manufacturing environment to gain an understanding of brewery operations. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in Trenton, Ohio. You will focus on operational improvement and project management while working alongside other interns.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, plan, organize, schedule, and lead diverse projects focused on systems, processes, or capital improvements.
    • Apply project management principles and technical expertise to ensure project success.
    • Act as a resource to support high-level technical issues within the brewery.
    • Reduce extract losses and improve maintenance job plans.
    • Perform instrumentation quality improvement projects.
    • Support hygiene projects.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program.
    • For the Brewing department, you are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in brewing, food science, chemistry, biology, microbiology, or chemical engineering.
    • For other departments, you are pursuing a degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, packaging, or a related engineering discipline.
    • Ability to complete complex projects quickly.
    • Skill in building relationships and collaborating with others.
    • A sense of accountability for your results.
    • A desire to learn.
