About the role#
Join our Agronomy team as a Summer Student for the 2027 season. You will spend your time in the field learning applied precision agronomy. This role runs from May 3 to August 27. You will work alongside an experienced Agronomist to gather and convey information from the field, helping them provide insights to our customers.
What you'll do#
- Conduct field scouting visits to check plant stands, herbicide timing, and insect or disease management.
- Perform plant stand counts and variable rate crop assessments.
- Collect data and perform analysis for research trials.
- Help organize and participate in crop tours.
- Attend industry agronomy and product tours throughout the summer.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program, preferably in Agriculture.
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Ability to work outdoors and handle overtime during peak season.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfort working independently within a team environment.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid summer position.
- Locations include Saskatoon, SK, Regina, SK, and Brandon, MB.
- Work is on-site.
