About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Intern position based in Gravenhurst, Ontario. You will work in a community pharmacy setting, gaining practical experience and training to support your development as a future pharmacist. You will work under a local Associate-Owner while benefiting from the support of a national brand.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers who approach the pharmacy and ensure they are served.
- Maintain strict customer confidentiality and manage consent protocols.
- Ensure all pharmacy privacy requirements are met.
- Be clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Participate in daily pharmacy operations within a community setting.
- Manage over-the-counter products, drug therapy, and disease state management.
- Provide patient counseling and improve your communication skills with patients and healthcare staff.
- Learn the operational skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.

- You are currently pursuing a career as a pharmacist in a Pharmaceutical Sciences program.
