About the role#
The Talent Acquisition Intern will support our team with retail recruiting activities. You will gain exposure to the full talent acquisition lifecycle, including selection practices, onboarding, and data-driven decision making within the banking industry.
What you'll do#
- Review resumes and applications to support retail recruiting across our branch network.
- Conduct candidate phone screens using established processes.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews while maintaining timely communication.
- Assist in maintaining a positive candidate experience.
- Enter and update candidate information in our applicant tracking system.
- Support recruiting-related data needs.
- Participate in team meetings and hiring manager discussions.
- Maintain compliance with all regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Human Resources, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related degree program.
- At least 2 years of completed college or university coursework.
- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Capacity to learn and use new software and programs.
Location & details#
- Location: Effingham, IL. You must reside locally and work on-site at our office.
- Term: Summer 2027 (mid-May through early August).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Pay: $18 per hour.
