    About the role#

    As an IT Software Engineer Intern, you will build software that supports Micron’s Business Data Warehouse. You will work with a team to move through the full software development lifecycle. Your work will provide solutions that allow the business to use data and analytics effectively.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with an inclusive software development team.
    • Use the software development lifecycle to deliver quality solutions.
    • Communicate with internal stakeholders and a worldwide IT team to build tools that fit customer needs.
    • Design and develop utilities, tools, and frameworks to support the data factory.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, databases (relational, NoSQL, graph), and SQL.
    • Proficiency in object-oriented programming using C# and Python.
    • An understanding of software architecture concepts.
    • A basic understanding of agentic AI.
    • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage priorities.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of Snowflake, data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, and AI-enabled code generation or review.
    • Familiarity with web frontend technologies like JavaScript and React.
    • A self-motivated and team-oriented mindset.
