About the role#
The Policy Communications team at Micron supports global government and public affairs. You will help execute communication strategies that advance policy priorities in key regions. This role involves hands-on work in content creation, social media management, and event monitoring. You will work alongside internal teams to amplify policy narratives.
What you'll do#
- Support the implementation of global policy communications strategies across integrated channels.
- Draft materials including quotes, press releases, and messaging briefs.
- Manage and create content for the MicronPolicy X account.
- Attend and summarize congressional hearings and think tank events.
- Monitor policy activities and industry news to find engagement opportunities.
- Collaborate with global communications, marketing, and digital teams.
- Copy edit and format internal and external communication products.
What you'll need#
- Interest or experience in government, technology, defense, or semiconductor industries.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with LLMs or AI-enabled tools.
- Ability to summarize complex policy topics for diverse audiences.
- Experience in communications, public affairs, or policy-related roles is preferred.
