About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Canton, Ohio, as part of the maintenance engineering team. This role focuses on supporting tube making operations through collaboration with planners, operations staff, and reliability engineers.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Maintenance Planners, Schedulers, Operations, and Reliability Engineers on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify, track, and implement opportunities to improve equipment reliability, safety, and productivity.
- Review and submit drawing updates to ensure technical documents remain accurate.
- Manage spare parts by tracking critical components and researching inventory requirements.
- Develop maintenance work packages and scopes of work for projects involving external vendors.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify reliability trends and support predictive and preventive maintenance efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Preferred majors include Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, with a preference for Electrical Engineering.
