About the role#
The Thermal Treat Operations Engineering Intern will join the team for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, on-site position provides exposure to manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives within the Thermal Treat department.
What you'll do#
- Monitor process performance and track production delays.
- Analyze productivity data to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work on initiatives to increase efficiency and throughput.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester.
- Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
