About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Canton, Ohio. You will work on-site to support maintenance engineering initiatives, focusing on process improvements and system documentation within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce and eliminate swarf accumulation.
- Develop detailed job plans to support critical projects for the 2027 shutdowns.
- Create step-by-step job plans and document processes within the LOGIC system to ensure standardization.
- Design and implement a structured tagging system for the IBA monitoring system.
- Partner with the Process Control Engineering team to understand tagging processes, systems, and best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Inventor.
