About the role#
This full-time internship provides hands-on experience within the steelmaking maintenance department. You will work on projects focused on asset reliability and process improvement, gaining exposure to industrial maintenance systems and engineering workflows.
What you'll do#
- Learn to navigate CMMS and drawing systems to support inventory management and asset reliability.
- Develop a process for a primary project focused on a reliability challenge.
- Create a user-friendly tool for subject matter experts to identify risks and improvement opportunities before downtime occurs.
- Ensure the project effectively captures both downtime risks and potential improvements.
- Incorporate enhancements to LOTOTO plans for specific assets.
What you'll need#
- Full-time student status at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic experience in reading mechanical or electrical prints.
