About the role#
Metallus Inc. is seeking an Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, on-site position in Canton, Ohio, offers the opportunity to gain professional experience while working alongside our engineering staff. You will be assigned a mentor to provide oversight and guidance as you lead or assist on various engineering projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform design drawing revisions.
- Conduct conceptual design and scoping of work.
- Create bid documents and prepare bid reviews or comparisons.
- Engage in field work, including equipment inspections, data gathering, and oversight for equipment installation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Inventor.
