About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Canton, Ohio. You will work on-site to gain practical experience in a steel manufacturing environment while developing your problem-solving and quality management skills.
What you'll do#
- Participate in daily quality operations within the manufacturing facility.
- Execute 1 to 3 high-impact projects specifically focused on defect reduction and process improvement.
- Support initiatives designed to enhance value-added steel manufacturing processes and overall operational performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Preferred majors include Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, or Mathematics.
