About the role#
The Clinical Nursing Student role provides hands-on clinical experience within the Nurse Float Pool at The Jewish Hospital. You will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to support patient care and develop your clinical skills through direct interaction and observation.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with hygiene, mobility, feeding, and nutrition.
- Record vital signs and document patient data accurately.
- Act as a liaison between patients and nursing staff to report concerns or changes in patient condition.
- Participate in hand-off reports regarding patient needs and departmental requirements.
- Perform delegated clinical tasks once your competency is validated.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Currently enrolled in a nursing program.
- Completion of at least one clinical nursing course and one clinical nursing rotation.
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow directions from the healthcare team.

- Location: Cincinnati, Ohio.
- This is an on-site, paid, part-time position.
