About the role#
As an Engineering Co-Op at the Glens Falls facility, you will join a team of approximately 30 engineers and technicians. You will work directly with senior engineers on projects ranging from small daily tasks to large-scale initiatives that span the duration of your term. This role provides hands-on experience in the medical device industry, specifically focusing on fluid delivery devices for angiographic and cardiac procedures.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and execute activities to qualify devices for the Glens Falls facility.
- Perform process development and process validations.
- Execute time studies for new assemblies and conduct cost-benefit analysis.
- Conduct lab testing for process validations or feasibility studies.
- Submit engineering change notices to update process documentation.
What you'll need#
- Background in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
- Junior standing with a 3.0 minimum GPA preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software is preferred.
- Unrestricted permanent US work authorization.
