About the role#
McKim & Creed is hiring an Engineering Student Intern for the Building Energy Infrastructure team in Pittsburgh. This internship is for the Summer 2027 term and offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a multi-discipline project environment.
What you'll do#
You will work under the supervision of a senior engineer or project manager. Your primary focus involves collaborating with designers and technicians to create design and construction drawings. These projects include electrical, telecommunications, security, and fire alarm systems. You will function as a contributor within a multi-discipline project team.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior status in an ABET accredited Bachelors of Science program for Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A valid driver's license
- Strong communication skills and the ability to solve technical problems

This is a full-time, paid, on-site position located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Please note that we do not provide sponsorship for this role.
