About the role#
McKim & Creed is hiring an Engineering Student Intern for our Water/Wastewater Group in Clearwater, Florida. This is a full-time, paid internship scheduled for Summer 2026. You will work on-site as part of a team providing technical support for municipal water and wastewater projects.
What you'll do#
- Support municipal water and wastewater projects through technical and design services.
- Conduct technical evaluations and prepare design computations and assessments.
- Assist in the creation of design and construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents.
- Report to your supervisor and coordinate with project managers to complete design tasks on time and within budget.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- A process-oriented mindset with solid organizational and technical abilities.
- A valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record.
