About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at one of our Michigan offices to support teams in areas including ITS/Traffic, CEI, Structures, and Highway. Please note that relocation and housing are not provided.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Help with research, development, and design for active projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
- Perform basic engineering calculations.
- Organize information for use in technical drawings and project documentation.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering).
- A basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to accept and apply direction from supervisors and peers.

- Locations: Allen Park, Detroit, East Lansing, Grand Rapids, Jackson, and Sterling Heights, Michigan.
- Term: Summer 2027.
