About the role#
Terracon is seeking interns for the Summer 2027 season to support our specialized service lines, including geotechnical, environmental, materials, and facilities engineering. You will work alongside experienced engineers, scientists, and technicians on active projects. Each intern is paired with a mentor to support technical skill development and professional growth. The program concludes with a summit where you will meet leadership and present your summer experiences.
What you'll do#
- Perform sampling or testing as directed.
- Assist field and laboratory personnel with routine tasks.
- Participate in data collection, analysis, and report preparation.
- Seek learning opportunities from your assigned mentor.
- Create and deliver a final presentation to leadership regarding your summer experiences.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biology, or a related field.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in office, field, and laboratory environments.
- Ability to learn technical procedures, follow directions, and communicate clearly.
- Good academic standing, with a potential 3.0 GPA requirement.
- Preference for students entering their junior or senior year.
