About the role#
McKim & Creed is seeking an Engineering Student Intern to join the Water/Wastewater team in Newark, Delaware. This is a full-time, paid internship scheduled for Summer 2027. You will work directly with a supervisor and project team to support municipal water and wastewater projects.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical and design services for municipal projects.
- Conduct technical evaluations and prepare design computations.
- Assist with the creation of design and construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents.
- Communicate project status and coordinate technical reports with the Project Manager and design team.
- Complete assigned design tasks on schedule and within budget.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong organizational, technical, writing, and verbal skills.
- A process-oriented mindset and the ability to follow directives from a Project Manager.
- A valid driver's license.
