About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for our Frisco, Texas office. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work with our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team on projects like airports, facilities, and universities.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, produce, and quality check project deliverables.
- Solve complex problems and assist project managers with daily tasks.
- Support the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team on large scale HVAC design.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations along with company standards.
- Perform general mechanical engineering tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an ABET accredited Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
