About the role#
As a Summer 2027 intern in the Advanced Power Generation group, you will contribute to infrastructure projects while gaining hands-on experience at an employee-owned engineering firm. This full-time position provides opportunities for mentorship and industry networking.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing electrical engineering deliverables, including reports, specifications, drawings, and studies.
- Support engineering analyses, design work, and report production.
- Collaborate with other project disciplines.
- Schedule project deliverables and organize project documentation, materials, and references.
- Evaluate data and use computer modeling to analyze systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET accredited university Electrical Engineering program.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Knowledge of engineering design principles and design guides.
- Relevant coursework in areas such as Power Systems, Transformers, Motors, Power Delivery, Three Phase Power Calculations, or Renewable Energy.
- Strong problem-solving skills, effective written communication, and the ability to build relationships.
