About the role#
The Business Analyst Intern will support the Product Innovation team within the Specialized Distribution business. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to manage product intake, document requirements, and track portfolio performance. This position is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Manage and administer product intake requests and maintain backlog repositories.
- Monitor requests through the product lifecycle and provide status updates to the Product team.
- Partner with the Product Portfolio Specialist to conduct intake reviews and prepare for governance council meetings.
- Design and maintain dashboards to track intake trends, backlog health, and portfolio performance.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Document business processes, workflows, and use cases.
- Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and process maps.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Business Administration program or related field.
- Experience managing product intake processes and maintaining backlog visibility.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, functional requirements.
- Proficiency in developing reporting and tracking tools.
- Strong documentation skills and an understanding of the product intake and delivery lifecycle.
- Capability to serve as a liaison between business and technology teams.
