About the role#
This internship is part of the System and Organization Controls (SOC1) Program. You will support the team in overseeing annual external assurance obligations. This role provides an opportunity to build professional skills, expand your network, and work on projects that support business priorities.
What you'll do#
- Validate internal control health and readiness.
- Review external audit evidence to ensure it is complete and accurate.
- Assess risks and potential impacts of identified issues.
- Partner with business stakeholders to address control gaps.
- Follow company security policies and protect the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information.
- Report suspected security violations or breaches.
- Complete all mandatory security training sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors degree program with an expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Academic focus or coursework in audit, compliance, risk management, cybersecurity, information systems, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Basic understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
- Exposure to technical concepts or business systems through coursework or prior experience.
- Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools or enterprise platforms like Oracle or SAP is preferred.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
