This internship provides an opportunity to work with the Marvell IT Data Analytics team. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to develop data-driven insights and predictive models that address real-world business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the data science team to gather, clean, and preprocess data from various sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and relationships within large datasets.
- Assist in building and optimizing machine learning models to solve business problems.
- Develop data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Power BI or Python libraries.
- Support the development and deployment of machine learning models in production.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support data integration and engineering activities, including ETL processes, within Snowflake or Databricks environments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and matplotlib.
- Knowledge of SQL for querying databases.
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms, including regression, classification, and clustering.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Python libraries like seaborn and Plotly.
- Proficiency in data preprocessing and transformation.
- Familiarity with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) is considered a plus.

- Location: Santa Clara, California.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: Paid position with an expected base pay range of $26 - $51 per hour.
