About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Chicago, Illinois. You will work on-site to gain experience in research and development within the snacking industry. This program is designed to provide hands-on learning and exposure to real business challenges. You will work alongside a Functional Lead who provides mentorship and guidance throughout the 10 to 11 week program.
What you'll do#
- Support compliance functions, including scientific and regulatory affairs.
- Contribute to projects focused on product, process, or packaging development.
- Engage with Science and Technology and Sensory research teams.
- Build professional relationships across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Food Science, Environmental Science, Biological Systems, Packaging, or Chemical Engineering.
- Status as a rising junior or rising senior.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for future visa sponsorship.
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.

- Note: Some facilities may process nuts or allow pets on-site. You are responsible for your own transportation to and from the work site.
