About the role#
As a Software Engineering Co-op, you will gain hands-on experience building systems that support our business and customers. You will work with technical teams to develop scalable software while contributing to the full development lifecycle. This is an 8-month, full-time position starting January 5, 2027, and ending August 19, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to a team of engineers focused on building scalable, reliable applications.
- Support application development, testing, and debugging efforts.
- Assist in feature development and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to build user-focused solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and ongoing application maintenance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. You are expected to be in the office Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
- Compensation: This position is paid, with an expected annual salary range of $52,650 CAD to $70,200 CAD, pro-rated based on the length of the work term.
