About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Software Engineering co-op position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work with our technology teams to build scalable applications and gain hands-on experience with enterprise software. The term runs from January 5, 2027, to April 22, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to engineering teams focused on building reliable, scalable applications.
- Support the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, and debugging.
- Assist with feature development and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with business and engineering teams to build user-focused solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of applications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program for Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn in a team environment.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, APIs, or application architecture is helpful.
Location & details#
- Location: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
- Modality: Hybrid. You will be in the office Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
- Compensation: The salary range for this position is $52,650 to $70,200 CAD annually, pro-rated based on the length of the work term.
