About the role#
The Product Management & Risk Technology internship within the Global Risk Intelligence and Technology (GRIT) team provides hands-on experience with enterprise risk management solutions. You will work alongside product owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to support the planning, development, and testing of solutions on the Archer platform. This role offers exposure to the full product lifecycle while contributing to initiatives that enhance risk programs and operational efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Support product owners in managing and maintaining product backlogs.
- Assist with documenting business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder meetings.
- Conduct research and analysis to support product strategy and roadmap planning.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Develop process maps, presentations, and training materials.
- Support user research, surveys, and feedback collection to improve product functionality.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and results tracking.
- Develop and execute test cases to validate system functionality.
- Monitor defects, delivery milestones, and implementation activities.
- Analyze product metrics and user adoption trends to generate actionable insights.
- Create dashboards and reports to support leadership decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Risk Management, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Interest in Product Management, Business Analysis, Enterprise Technology, or Financial Services.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, or project delivery frameworks.
- Experience with data collection, preparation, analysis, and reporting.
- Familiarity with Power BI, dashboard development, or data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collect, organize, and interpret large volumes of information.
- Highly organized with strong planning and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of the financial services or insurance industry is an asset.
- Knowledge of risk management, governance, compliance, or internal controls is an asset.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Terms available: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Work modality: Hybrid.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Salary range: $46,800.00 CAD - $62,400.00 CAD (pro-rated based on work-term length).
