About the role#
The Global Risk Intelligence and Technology (GRIT) team offers a Winter 2027 Co-op position for students interested in advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and risk management. This role provides hands-on experience within a global financial services organization, contributing to intelligence-led decision-making and strategic risk initiatives. This position is a full-time, paid opportunity that may serve as a pathway to the Graduate Recruitment Opportunities (GRO) program.
What you'll do#
- Automate monthly reporting for the risk and intelligence function.
- Assist in the delivery of machine learning, large language model (LLM), and other advanced analytics projects.
- Improve processes for data collection, analysis, and dashboard development to generate actionable insights.
- Validate AI and analytics models to ensure they meet internal and regulatory standards.
- Build and maintain scripts in Python or R to test model performance and automate monitoring.
- Support data quality monitoring and preparation within the Enterprise Data Lake.
- Collaborate with analytics, automation, and business stakeholders to support risk initiatives.
- Document processes, procedures, and project work while handling ad hoc requests.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and automation.
- Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with data preparation, cleaning, and analysis.
- Proficiency with Power BI or similar dashboarding and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
