About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship offers hands-on experience within the compliance team at Manulife. You will work alongside professionals to help the company operate with integrity and meet regulatory requirements. This role is suited for students interested in compliance, risk management, governance, and business operations. You will contribute to projects that improve processes and support digital transformation.
What you'll do#
- Support projects focused on improving efficiency through the adoption of technology and digital solutions.
- Conduct research on regulatory, business, and legal requirements to inform compliance decisions.
- Help develop, update, and maintain compliance guidelines, policies, and documentation.
- Analyze information and summarize findings to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather information and support project delivery.
- Assist with day-to-day operational activities and process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in Business, Finance, Law, Public Policy, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with an expected salary range of $40,950 to $60,450 CAD, pro-rated based on the length of the work term.
