About the role#
As a Business Technology intern, you will work at the intersection of business and technology. You will support initiatives that drive digital transformation and operational efficiency. You will join a team of Business Analysts and IT Project Coordinators to help translate complex concepts into actionable insights. This is a paid, full-time position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into requirements, user stories, and process flows.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, track milestones, and coordinate meetings to ensure tasks stay on track.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, generate insights, and create visual reports or dashboards.
- Organize and update key project artifacts including meeting notes, action items, risk logs, and process maps.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate documentation, and follow through on action items.
- Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, or Confluence.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Toronto, Ontario.
- The position follows a hybrid work model, with in-office expectations from Tuesday to Thursday and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
