About the role#
This is a part-time student internship at the Hawaii Job Corps center. You will work under the Food Services Supervisor to maintain facility cleanliness and support daily cafeteria operations. This position is paid at $17.38 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Wash dishes and keep the service line stocked.
- Clean and sanitize the dish room, dining area, serving lines, and food preparation spaces.
- Follow all health and safety standards.
- Provide helpful service to students and staff.
- Participate in student employability activities.
- Support the Job Corps Zero Tolerance Policy.
- Keep track of center property and attend staff training sessions.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Hawaii Job Corps student.
- You need at least 90 days of experience in the Job Corps Program.
- Previous school or training in food preparation.
- An aptitude for cafeteria tasks.
- The ability to follow sanitation dress codes.
