About the role#
This is a part-time internship for students to gain experience in food services. You will report to the food services supervisor and help prepare meals for students. This role requires reliability and the ability to work mornings, evenings, or weekends.
What you'll do#
- Help cooks and cook helpers prepare student meals.
- Clean and sanitize food preparation, storage, and dish room areas.
- Move ingredients and supplies to the cooking area.
- Clean the student snack bar and outside areas.
- Handle other tasks as assigned in the Admin Building.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Job Corps student.
- You must be a completer and ready for work-based learning.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have your student card.
- Enrollment in the Culinary Arts program is preferred.

- Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $17.20 per hour.
