About the role#
As a Production Assembly Intern in the HVAC area, you will support daily manufacturing operations. You will gain hands-on experience in a production environment while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives at our facility.
What you'll do#
- Assist with HVAC product assembly processes while following work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Monitor workflow to identify inefficiencies and help improve assembly procedures.
- Participate in problem-solving sessions regarding assembly issues, defects, or process deviations.
- Help maintain organized workstations using 5S principles.
- Track production output and assist in reporting on metrics like throughput, downtime, and quality.
What you'll need#
- A proactive, hands-on, and team-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
- An interest in manufacturing, production operations, or mechanical systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment with physical and environmental demands.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Current enrollment or background in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Logistics.
