About the role#
As an Operational Excellence (OPEX) Intern, you will work on initiatives to improve production processes, material flow, and overall efficiency. You will contribute to projects that increase productivity and reduce waste across the facility.
What you'll do#
- Conduct cycle time studies to create diagrams, find bottlenecks, and support line balancing.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles by participating in kaizen events and improvement projects.
- Support the development of Plan for Every Part (PFEP) standards, including inventory levels and visual management.
- Design and optimize material delivery routes between the warehouse, subassembly areas, and production lines.
What you'll need#
- A proactive, analytical, and project-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
- A strong interest in manufacturing operations and process improvement.
- Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong preference for Excel skills.
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
