About the role#
We are hiring an intern for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. This role sits within our Tax and Estate Planning team. You will support team members across Canada by conducting research and contributing to various business initiatives. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Research and analyze tax and estate planning topics, then prepare and present your findings to senior management.
- Monitor and respond to general inquiries received through the Tax and Estate Planning inboxes.
- Create and edit presentations and proposals to support team objectives.
- Review current business processes to find ways to improve efficiency.
- Assist with project work as business needs arise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in accounting, finance, or financial planning, specifically within CPA-stream programs with taxation coursework.
- Candidates currently in a graduate diploma in Tax, Master in Tax, or the In-Depth Tax Program (IDTP) are also encouraged to apply.
- A clear interest in building a career in Tax and Estate Planning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.
Location & details#
- This position is based in either Montreal, Quebec, or Toronto, Ontario.
- The role operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring three days per week in the office.
